Ms. Martha works at Mallory's preschool. She lives out in Crestwood and has a pretty big back yard that has a pumpkin patch, straw bails and a horse. The preschool took a field trip (another field trip!) to her house on Friday for some fun fall festivities. When we got there we took a hay ride all around the neighborhood. The kids sat on bails of straw and ate their lunches and then we all went around from station to station playing some fun games. I think the kids liked sliding down the rolled up straw the best. Oh, and they loved feeding the horse apples. At the end they all got to go out to the pumpkin patch and pick their own pumpkin. It's events like this that make me love the Fall in Kentucky.
